MARZIPAN FRENCH COUNTRY!!!
I was going to gratuitously stow these figurines on the wedding cake I made...
The forces were against me. Nobody thought it was a good idea. I planned to hide them like little easter eggs under the petals of the the orchids adorning the cake...But then I forgot them at home. I may photoshop them onto my cake just for good measure.

Katie! I love your blog! How fun. It's amazing to see all of the different iterations food can have. It seems like your whole life is an adventure in edible pursuits...Jenny told me she had a great time last weekend poking urchins and the like.
