ReplyDeleteI think nostalgia plays a very important role in foods we love but that aren't necessarily a part of our ever-refining palate. When I think of those foods, certain memories come to mind (college, camp, etc) so I see no harm in a little nostalgic eating! my additions:

Philly Cheese steak is an Amoroso roll, paper thin steak shredded as cooked, sauteed onions, pizza sauce, and good american cheese (clearfield i prefer)..........and mushrooms if you like.......Remember it is in the roll, stupid.....Amoroso's rolls!!...
